国泰航空新货运站建成的意义分析

摘要： 2013年2月，备受货运界瞩目的国泰航空公司新货运站正式启用。新货运站集尖端设备于一身，年货物处理量达260万吨，预示着香港国际机场的货物处理能力更上一层楼。与此同时，新货运站的建立可降低成本，平摊风险，不失为新的利润增长点。航空运输仅仅是航空货运价值链中的一个环节，新货运站是国泰货运价值链的延伸，只有对众多的环节进行有效控制，才能满足客户对完整货物运输产品的需求。未来的航空货运界将更加激烈，筹建货运站将是航空公司抢占先机的突破口。文章具体分析了国泰航空新货运站建成的意义。

Abstract: In February of 2013, the high-profile cargo terminal of Cathay Pacific Airways was put into service, with a set of sophisticated equipment, the new cargo terminal has the handling capacity of 2600000 tons, which indicates that the cargo handling capacity of Hong Kong International Airport reaches a higher level. At the same time, the establishment of the new cargo terminal can reduce cost, share risk, and also can be regarded as a new profit growth point. Air transportation is only a link in the value chain of air transportation, and the new cargo terminal is the extension of Cathay Pacific cargo value chain, only if the links is being controlled effectively, customer demand for complete freight transport can be met. The future of the air cargo industry will become more intense, the establishment of cargo terminal will be a breakthrough to win the opportunity.
