Abstract: At present, one of the vital tendencies is the informatization of the collections in the development of museums. As the foundation of establishing digital museums, the informatization of collections forms an integrated database system by using computer input devices to transfer the details of the collections into digital massages, and by founding relevant system to manage these massages efficiently. This dissertation focuses on the specialized issues encountered by the author during the internship in Nanjing Museum and is based on the theories of Museology.
