Abstract:

With the rapid development of computer and network technology, the public library’s reading guidance of journal work mode has undergone the major changes. The traditional journal reading work requires a lot of memory and training by the staff, which makes the pressure on the staff. The different articles are presented in terms of the newsletter of the journal and the characteristics of the brand. The traditional journal guidance mainly helps readers to find the required journals quickly and accurately. In the new information environment, the journal’s guidance work mode is gradually developing towards informatization. The journal reference work of public libraries gradually integrates information technology into journal lending and journal reading promotion, which greatly saves the time for journal borrowing staff. Based on the analysis of the public library journal reading work under the background of informatization, this paper puts forward the countermeasures for the improvement of the journal reading guidance work for reference.
